Finger-plays:
The Anthill
Once I saw an anthill (make hill with arms)
With no ants about (shrug shoulders)
So I said, "Dear little ants (put hands on hips)
Won't you please come out?" (motion with finger)
Then as if the little ants (rub chin like thinking)
Had heard my call (put hand on ear)
One, two, three, four, five came out, (count on hands)
And that was all (jump up)
Alligator on a Log
There once was an alligator sitting on a log,
Down in the pool he saw a little frog
In jumped the alligator, and around went the log
Splash went the water, and away swam the frog
