Theme: Letter "H"
Choosing Time: Farm, Animals, Horses, Duplos, Face Cups with Bean Bags
Snack: Thank you Spencer for bringing such a fun snack! We enjoyed fruit snacks, "ants on a log", & Pretzels. The pretzels were so pretty & big. One child asked Spencer, "Where did you buy these pretzels?" Spencer said, "At the store." The child asked, "Which store?" Spencer replied, "The store my mom goes to." :)
Music & Movement: We danced the Hokey-Pokey. We sang "I can spell hat, cat, fat, but not hippopotamus!"Lesson: We practiced the "H" sound. We thought of some words that begin with "H". We guessed some "H" words by listening to clues. They are getting really good at this!
Art: We made paper houses. We added pictures of some "H" words on our houses.
Recess: Everyone enjoyed a lovely time playing outside today! The weather was beautiful!
